Small World On Common Ground Festival
September 26th & 27th, 1pm

Everything from Bollywood, gypsy-pop, and Turkish folk, to flamenco, funk and Ethiopian jazz, this two-day global music mélange is your passport to infectious rhythms from around the world. In addition to non-stop tunes, performances will be punctuated with spoken word poetry, while dancers, artists and fitness experts lead the crowd in interactive entertainment.
The Word On the Street
September 27th, 11am-
Harbourfront Centre
The 26th installment of this premiere national book and magazine festival features performers from across the literary spectrum on 16 outdoor and indoor stages. In addition to FREE live readings, over 200 vendors will be on-site selling their books and magazines. Exclusive hour-long Author Cruises are also available for $25/person, as well as a slate of informative writing / publishing seminars, a youth-based literacy area, and a deliciously inspired Cooks ‘n' Books Stage with chef demos, all just a few minutes from your room or suite at our Yorkville hotel.
