Sweeten Summer with FREE Toronto Things to Do
Often the hottest month of the year, July is also possibly the most happening. Whether you're saving money for fun when the sun goes down, or you just want to mingle with the locals, some of the best things to do in Toronto this month are also FREE! Check out this helpful guide of events that won't break the bank:
Canada Day Fireworks at The Beaches
Ashbridge's Bay Park
Monday, July 1st
The national holiday that celebrates the beginning of Canada's road to independence is also one of our country's biggest parties. Start the day with FREE outdoor concerts in Woodbine Park, from noon until the fireworks launch. Acts include cover bands for iconic groups like Chicago (3:15pm), Aerosmith (6:25pm), Rolling Stones (7:50pm), and Pink Floyd (9:15pm). But be sure to make it to Ashbridge's Bay Park across the street for the beachfront light show at 10:30pm. Bright, pyrotechnic colors shimmering off the water, toes in the sand – it's truly not to be missed!
