The largest celebration of performing arts in Canada's trendiest city, the 2015 Fringe Festival transforms our streets and stages into an all-out art party for 12 days this July. Attracting nearly 90,000 people and independent artists from around the world, one of the hottest Toronto events of the year welcomes over 150 shows to upwards of 30 venues across town. Altogether, there are nearly 1,100 performances – from experimental and traditional theater, to live music, comedy, visual arts, and underground dance parties – all staged at a colorful variety of site-specific places like boxing gyms, churches, yoga studios, apartments, and bars. Best of all, the most you'll pay for tickets is $12 for adults, $5 for kids – and all sales go back to the artists!
