Those are the main events, but there's plenty going on in between. The 3-day street festival is a lot of fun under the Toronto sun with 8 stages of live music and entertainment, food stalls, and booths sponsored by community organization and vendors. The Street Fair is June 28 to 30, and takes place in Church and Wellesley Village.
Family Pride at Church Street Public School will have a special program just for children and families. Last year, Family Pride included kid-friendly entertainment such as music, puppet shows, and drum circles. This time, expect all of that plus story time, games, face painting, activities, and crafts. For those who want to show their Pride while staying sober, Toronto Pride Week provides a space that is substance free—Clean, Sober, & Proud. Here, participants can enjoy musical entertainment, confidential recovery meetings, and holistic services. This area is also family-friendly.
