Celebrate a Deliciously Global Labor Day in Toronto
Bringing the world to your doorstep over the holiday weekend, a pair of cultural festivals welcome guests to dance, taste, and celebrate summer's end in the spirit of our global city. Here's the scoop on both:

Food unites us all – from the streets of India to the mountains of Latin America, one thing is for sure. Some like it HOT! Every year the festival is bigger than the last, as fiery food culture consumes the world's palate. Some things to look forward to include:
- Vij's Family Chicken ( 5th, 2-4pm) – Canadian celebrity Chef Vikram Vij prepares his utterly crave-worthy chicken curry, just the way his mother taught him – with a few personal touches, of course.
- The Arsenals ( 6th, 9:30-11pm) – Jamming a melange of Jamaican reggae, ska, and mid-century pop, this legendary six-piece band will have you dancing your way into the holiday.
